Trotz Time-Slot dauerte es einige Zeit, bis wir den Camper bekamen. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden. Alle waren nett, uns wurde alles gezeigt und wir könnten direkt starten. Preislich ein absolut faires Angebot (halbes Jahr vorher gebucht). Unser Camper rhat schon das ein oder andere Abenteuer erlebt, aber wir hatten gar keine Probleme und es war sauber und gemütlich.

Despite the time slot, it took some time before we got the camper. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. Everyone was nice, we were shown everything and we were able to get started right away. The price was absolutely fair (booked half a year in advance). Our camper has already experienced one or two adventures, but we had no problems at all and it was clean and comfortable.

Si la furgoneta no va a ser para 4 personas la cama de arriba se podria quitar. La verdad es que tras leer algunos comentarios de la gente, nos preocupaba el estado de la furgo, sobretodo porque viajabamos con un niño pequeño, pero nos tocó una de la nueva flota y la verdad es que funcionaba todo de maravilla, la calefacción duraba toda la noche sin necesidad de electricidad, con lo que no pasamos nada de frio, tubimos suficiente con una bombona de gas para los 10 dias… todo perfecto la verdad! Eso si, los materiales son muy sencillos y hay que tener mucho cuidado.

If the van is not going to be for 4 people, the top bed could be removed. The truth is that after reading some people's comments, we were worried about the condition of the van, especially because we were traveling with a small child, but we got one of the new fleet and the truth is that everything worked wonderfully, the heating lasted the entire time. the night without the need for electricity, so we didn't get cold at all, we had enough with a gas cylinder for the 10 days... everything was perfect really! Of course, the materials are very simple and you have to be very careful.

los horarios de recogida y entrega eran un poco ajustados, tuvimos que pagar para recogerla antes y dejarla temprano con el consiguiente tiempo libre, igual más flexibilidad estaría genial en ese aspecto Genial para viajar en familia, la flexibilidad que tuvimos con la caravana no la hubiéramos conseguido con vehículo más hoteles

The pick-up and drop-off times were a bit tight, we had to pay to pick it up early and drop it off early with the resulting free time, maybe more flexibility would be great in that regard. Great for family travel, the flexibility we had with the caravan we would not have achieved with a vehicle plus hotels.

We loved our stay. A few of the interior finishings were starting to wear/break (the walking part between the seats going to the back) and the door inside part had a big crack in it. Nothing affected functionality but not sure if it was worth a mention... Our vehicle was the one in the photo pictured when ordered and provided the perfect place to rest our heads after adventurous days out in the mountains. Our sporty van had storage, a cooler and 1 plaster gas hob. Would absolutely do it again, can't wait to book in another country through indie campers. I was wary after reading a few not great reviews but soon realised the people had driven off road/unsuitable conditions which landed themselves needing other services. We received friendly supportive advice from the online team and at check in and check out, really appreciated that. Thanks indie

Reverse cameras on the vans

Very good job from the local staff on the ground. Yasmine was very helpful during the check-in and very dedicated to explain us everything we needed to know and be aware. Top service! Best way to travel in Iceland for sure. Very friendly staff, thank you Alejandro for your assistance on the checkout.

Bigger pots for cooking I like driving the Nomad, it fits our family perfectly. We did stay all nights except one on campsites since it was winter this was most convenient. Still it's handy to be able to dine or lunch between visits to attractions and off course to have a toilet available. As the water system doesn't work below 3 degrees, we took a foldable 10l jerrycan for water with us from home. Like that we managed to cook even when it was freezing. Upfront I was wondering how it would be sleeping in the camper while it was freezing, but that was very fine (with warm sleepingbags and the heater on 1).

Sería conveniente añadir un arrancador ya que el problema con el frio en Islandia las baterías sufren bastante por la noche y por las mañanas cuesta bastante arrancarlas. Nuestra experiencia ha sido bastante positiva, porque a pesar de las adversidades por el frio y la bateria siempre hemos tenido solución por parte de la empresa, nos han ayudado bastante en todo y han sido muy amables y nos han atendido de maravilla en todo momento. Especial mención para Alejandro que nos hizo el check in, Luiz que nos ayudó en nuestra última noche e hizo que nos fuéramos con muy buena sensación de todo el viaje. Joao Carvalho con la experiencia del check out! Recomendable para todos nuestra primera experiencia con Indie Campers! Pero no la última!!! Gracias infinitas por hacer que disfrutemos de Islandia como si hubiese sido nuestra casa!

It would be convenient to add a starter since the problem with the cold in Iceland is that the batteries suffer quite a bit at night and in the mornings it is quite difficult to start them. Our experience has been quite positive, because despite the adversities due to the cold and the battery we have always had a solution from the company, they have helped us a lot in everything and they have been very kind and have attended us wonderfully at all times. Special mention for Alejandro who checked us in, Luiz who helped us on our last night and made us leave with a very good feeling about the whole trip. Joao Carvalho with the check out experience! Our first experience with Indie Campers is recommended for everyone! But not the last!!! Thank you so much for making us enjoy Iceland as if it had been our home!

Buena asistencia del personal. El agua del vehículo no funcionaba. Y la puerta del baño no se cerraba correctamente. Por lo demás todo bien.

Good assistance from the staff. The water in the vehicle was not working. And the bathroom door did not close properly. Otherwise everything was fine.

Really friendly staff and very helpful with all the questions we had. Really good experience, we drove in winter with heavy snow, the winter tires worked fantastic. The camper was very cosy with the heaters on at night, beds was comfortable and felt very at home. Would hire again.

Friendly team, explained everything well and showed us demos round the vehicle Great trip, vehicle worked as promised. Had difficulty with using water but this was due to weather conditions causing the anti-freeze system to dump the reservoir, just need more frequent refilling in winter (daily refill required). Checking out was seamless, again very friendly team, interested to know how our trip went. Quick and efficient checking out, called us a taxi and offered drinks while we wait

Pick up took a bit longer than expected (nearly an hour). Some features of the van were missing or malfunctioning when we received it, including broken or malfunctioning blinds, missing sink cover, missing electrical cover. When we contacted customer service about a burning smell they didn’t read our messages and did not address our issue. Luckily the smell went away and we were able to continue. Overall we had a great experience experience with indie campers and would use you again.
