Beautiful experience

Wonderful staff at the pickup/drop-off, and the camper is well-appointed (feels like it is only missing an awning over the main door). It was incredibly easy to dump the greywater and blackwater tanks and to fill the propane and water - certainly less stressful than I'd originally imagined. Some of the latches on the drawers were loose and came open, but was a very quick fix with a screwdriver. so much fun! It was pretty well capable for the hilly and sometimes unpaved roads of the redwoods! Such a blast

Awesome experience. This was our first time van camping and just camping in general. It was exactly what we needed as first timers. We had 3 people and it did not feel crowded, we just negotiated space and by the end of the trip we had it down to a science. We kept the Murphy bed down the entire trip for extra sitting space. Heads up, the bathroom is really small but still functional for emergency nighttime uses. The staff was awesome; some went over in detail on how to operate everything, and with the solar panels on top, we were always at full power. We will definitely be using this company again in the future, and I mean really close future. I am hooked lol.

We had an overall good experience with our Indie Camper. However, we did experience certain issues on the trip. We were not told until pick up that the water system was winterized so we had no access to water for the trip. This caused us to change our plans of camping off-grid and we had to drive 50+ extra miles each day to go to and from the city to use showers/sinks/bathrooms. This change of plans caused us to exceed our mileage package; we would have chosen a higher package if we had known we couldn’t use the RV’s water. Additionally, our check engine light came on within an hour of driving, and the engine battery did not hold any charge the entire trip, meaning the car wouldn’t start on its own. This forced us to use the emergency start function every time we turned the car on. There were multiple instances where the leisure battery didn’t have enough charge to emergency start the car so we were stranded for up to an hour at a time waiting for the solar panel to charge enough to get the car started. The speakers did not output any sound either, which may have been part of the engine battery issue. When I contacted on-trip support our first night about this issue, I never got a response for the entirety of my trip, so I was left driving the car 1000+ miles with the check engine light on. Aside from these issues, the sleeping situation and fridge were great, and regardless of any setbacks we still had a great trip out to Moab, Utah. If these issues were handled properly, I would choose Indie Campers again.

Abraham and his team (Richard, Dino, and Geraldo) have been amazingly attentive and helpful during this whole amazing experience! I came here last year and this experience has surpassed all of my expectations. Ab has the depot in complete order and was very helpful to provide everything I needed. Had a great 10 days road trip during late Winter from Denver to San Francisco. The camper felt a bit battered but that mostly reduced our anxiety of breaking a shiny new vehicle. Would definitely rent again.
